Terms & Conditions for staying at Hillside Apartments
1. Payment, Security Deposit, Cancellations and Alterations of Bookings
Deposit:
Hillside Apartments reserves the right to ask for a 30% deposit from the accommodation price to be paid in advance and at the time of the booking enquiry. All payments are done on the communicated bank account, no cash is accepted. For Swedish or Norwegian guests we accept Swish or Vips payments. We also accept PayPal on email emina@mayandbarrow.com. Once deposit has been received the booking will be confirmed. We expect the rest of the accommodation price to be paid on the day of arrival / check-in day. Cancellation policy:
All reservations made directly through Hillside website, contain semi-flexible cancellation policy. This means; if cancelled up to 30 days before the day of arrival, no fee will be charged, and full deposit refund is given. If such a reservation is cancelled less than 30 days before the day of arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the full deposit will be charged.
Longer stay:
If the reservation is made for a longer period, 1 month and more, Hillside Apartments reserves the right to ask for a 50% deposit from the accommodation price to be paid in advance. If the reservation is cancelled up to 30 days before the check-in date, the deposit will be refunded. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the deposit will not be refunded.
Security deposit:
Security deposit is NOT required by Hillside apartments. In case of any damage, we trust our guests that they will act responsibly and offer to pay for the damage made.
Exceptional circumstances:
Whilst all reasonable efforts have been taken by Hillside Apartments to ensure that bookings are able to proceed, we reserve the right to relocate any booking to accommodation of similar size and standard in special cases, such as overbooking or force majeure. In exceptional circumstances Hillside Apartments may find it necessary to cancel your booking. If this occurs Hillside Apartments will refund any amount of money the Guest has paid which shall constitute a full and final settlement of any liability.
Bank account details:
Bank account details for deposit and accommodation charges will be provided to the Customer upon agreement
Please note that:
*International bank transfer charges to be paid by Payee /Guests.
** Currency converter: Write in GOOGLE for example: “1000 euro in SEK” and you will get the currency in SEK.
2. Check-in and Check-out
Check- in time is 17.00. Check-out is flexible, but no later than 09.00 on the day of departure. Exceptions are possible but only in case of availability and upon request.
Check-in /out instructions are sent to you via email prior to your arrival. Please familiarize yourself with the check-in procedure and where to find and leave the keys.
3. House rules
Non-Smoking policy:
All of the properties of Hillside Apartments are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed in any part of the accommodation, including terraces. If any smoke smell or damage is evident in the apartment upon your arrival, please contact Emina Dervisevic (00 46 70979 4385) immediately.
Fee for smoking will be charged EUR 500.
Quiet time:
Quiet time is daily between 23.00-06.00. Hillside Apartments grants the use of its property solely for appropriate, legal, personal use.
No-Pets:
Unless previously consulted and agreed in a written form by the management, pets are not permitted in the property.
Right to Evict.
Children:
Hillside Apartments allows only for older children 10+ years of age in apartments Penthouse and Iconic. Younger children are not allowed in these apartments. However, apartment Studio can welcome younger children. Reason for this is the personal security of children. Baby chair and baby cribs for Studio apartment are NOT available from Hillside apartments.
E-Visitor registration:
Upon arrival, guests need to be registered as tourists of Rogoznica Municipality. Please use this form to register all guests. Non-registered guests are not allowed to stay in the apartment.

Termination of guest:
Hillside Apartments reserves the right to terminate the Guestsˈ stay without any refund obligations in case of a breach of the House Rules or in case of receiving serious complains about the Guest. Hillside Apartments also reserves the right to refuse to provide an accommodation if on arrival the Guest is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or is behaving in a threatening, abusive or otherwise unacceptable manner.
4. Insurance and Loss of Guest’s Property
Hillside Apartments cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to any belongings, or for injury sustained by the Guest or members of his/her party during their stay at the apartment except to the extent that such injury or loss or damage to any belongings is caused by the negligence or default of Hillside Apartments.
Hillside Apartments does NOT provide insurance for personal effects. Vehicles parked in the Hillside Apartments car-park are done so at the risk of the Guest/Customer. We strongly recommend that guests make their own arrangements for travel and motor insurances to cover any such losses.
5. Right of Entry
Hillside Apartments Team reserves the right to enter the apartment at any reasonable time for reasonable cause. This includes the undertaking of unforeseen (internal and external) remedial repairs together with any annual external re-decorations for which access to the inside of the apartment may be required. All entry to the apartment will be informed to the Guest.
